The Association
for Common European Nursing Diagnoses, Interventions and Outcomes is a
membership organization established in 1995 to promote the development of
nursing’s professional language and provide a network across Europe for nurses
interested in the development of a common language to describe the practice of
nursing.
International classification for
nursing practice (ICN)
works to ensure quality nursing care for all,
sound health policies globally, the advancement of nursing knowledge, and the
presence worldwide of a respected nursing profession and a competent and
satisfied nursing workforce.
